At the request of last year's participants, Priscilla Starratt of UW-Superior has expanded last year's offering to an eight-week educational series on Israel/Palestine for local seniors. The meetings are 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday mornings at the University of Minnesota-Duluth from March 27th to May 15th, 2012 Participants will discuss a wide range of films and books led by local academics and activists who have extensive experience in the issue. An addition to this year's staff is Dr. Daniela Mansbach, a native of Israel, whose special field of research is the interaction of Peace Movements in Israel and feminist political theory.
